So Reuben’s teacher called to say he wasn’t himself so I collected him come home done a covid test and he’s positive. My question is how do we treat him just with calpol? Also how do my husband and I protect ourselves from catching it again as we had it during Christmas? Thank you x

Aww poor little man hope he has a speedy recovery. Suppose you'll just have to wear a mask and keep all the windows open and wrap up if its to cold and constantly be cleaning behind the baby and yeah calpol. Tbh no clue but goodluck!! Surely youve got protection with it being so close so you should be fine! Xx

He has a snotty nose and a bit warm to touch so I’ve given him calpol. Looks like the hubby and I will have to grab the masks again… we constantly clean up anyway and spraying the anti bac stuff to avoid this 😩 thank you xz

I'd get a PCR test to follow up as you can get false positive on lateral flow. You would most probably have the antibodies in your system, so if you do catch it, it'll at least be milder form.

Get him a PCR. Calpol, plenty of fluids and cuddles! Don't give him anything containing ibuprofen.
You've just had it, you'll have anti-bodies. Your chances of catching it again so soon are slim.

ah the advice has changed, apparently you can give ibuprofen now, I'd check that though? I was advised against it when Aniela was positive :) xx

I’ll stick to calpol haha. Tbh I don’t think I’ve ever used ibuprofen lol x
