Why is my skin so dry and itchy?
Has anybody else had their skin so dry and itchy that it’s causing a break out like this?! I’ve set up a doctors appointment but this is driving me CRAZY! It itches so badly…

Totally agree with these ladies! I get contact dermatitis on my hands when they are super dry and I put lotion on them. Have you tried benadryl or claritin or zyrtec?
@jenx, it got so much worse lastnight! I actually ended up going to the ER for it. I have an appointment tomorrow with my PCP, so hopefully we can get to the bottom of things.
Definitely looks like hives, if you can try some Benadryl cream or regular Benadryl should work.
@nunyabuzzz, have you changed soaps or anything like laundry or body wash. Maybe you ate something that your allergic to.
@boymomx4, this has been going on for a few weeks. The only thing I changed was the scent of downy unstoppables that I was using. I have like 4 different ones but I’m going to run to the grocery store and try gain laundry detergent! It’s literally the only thing I could think of…
@nunyabuzzz, try some sensitive skin laundry soap it might help. This same thing happened to my husband and I have to use all free and clear.

I’m trying to pinpoint what I could be allergic to! I’ve changed laundry detergents, soaps, shampoos and nothing!
