My christmas rant
Hope everyone had a good Christmas! Ours was pretty good besides MIL making the remark to the family that Emma always comes to her because i never have time for the both of them 🥴 which really ticked me off Kenny said i took it the wrong way that
she meant i can't deal with both of them at the same time which makes the remark no better because i'm the one that has all 3 by myself 99% of the time i never ask for help i have dealt with them both teething, being sick, having covid months ago, fighting, crying at same time, play time, you name it without anyone help so for someone to make a remark that i can't handle them both or never have time for both of them in front of family really pisses me off

That was an extrmely shitty thing for her to say. I actually think you've done an excellent job managing all 3 of them and attending to their needs, and I DO NOT give praise lightly.
Some MILs are just such big mouth aholes. My MIL has done just about everything to break our relationship that she can over the last couple of years. I don't have much left for her and she's at the very lowest level of my priority list right now. I don't know why they can't figure that out, your DIL is the last person you want to be adverse to you.

she's one of those act like someone totally different to make herself look good but don't ever say my child comes to you because "i don't have time for both of them" when i'm the one that does everything for them 24/7 never asking for help. is it easy? no but i make it work and do what i have to do no help asked because i'm their mom. i treat all 3 the same i make time for all 3 and handle all 3 myself

Sounds like my mom. My oldest is a handful and she loves to make comments on how “He never gets any attention and that’s why he behaves the way he does.” All of my kids are literally in my face from 7am to 7pm, so I’m not sure where she gets this logic… but whatever.

Some grandparents have a goal to tell you exactly what to do with your kids like they know them better than you do lol my in laws are so so sweet and supportive but my mom can be a real pain in the ass. It irks me because me and my sister are both wackadoos so she must’ve been doing something wrong 😂

my godmother too. She doesn’t even have kids yet she seems to know more than I do about the ones I popped out of my poon. You’re doing a lovely job. Your kids know they are loved and taken care of. She can just direct her negativity elsewhere.

Make the remark to him every time and then tell him you didn’t mean it like that until it clicks . Husbands always treat moms like they can do no wrong

exactly my mood like i'm not home with em 24/7 guess need to keep 'em up all night too so i spend time with them
