Quick question I’ve just had my pcr results and there positive. If I test day 6+7 and they’re negative do I still have to isolate after? Hope your all well x

Yes, you need to isolate full 10 days.

Oh hang on, I've just seen on news that its changing to if you test negative on days 6 and 7, tests taken 24 hours apart you don't need to do the full 10 days.
If unvaccinated its full 10 days regardless.

Yeah I’m double jabbed so hopefully 6+7 are negative don’t know how much more of the 4 walls I can look at lol. Thanks hun x

My lateral flows were negative after 4 days to be fair. I had my positive lateral flow Friday, and went for a pcr on the Saturday Sunday my results came back unreadable so went for another one and my positive was Monday and by Tuesday my lateral flows were negative but I still had to isolate for the 10 days xx

I’m on day 5 today and it’s still positive and if im honest I can’t see them being negative tomorrow or the day after😪. x

I’m double vaccinated. Tested positive the Saturday before Christmas but had covid from the Thursday (didn’t have the ‘typical symptoms’ but had others).
I LFT on Wednesday and was faint positive. By Thursday it was negative and negative again on Friday. So I managed to cut my isolation down And be one free from Xmas eve instead of Boxing Day.

Yeah I’m hoping my laterals turn negative tomorrow and the day after. I doubt it but here’s to hoping 🙈. The only symptom I have is blocked sinuses and sometimes my chest sounds wheezy but soon clears. Luckily my husband and son are still negative x
