Grandpa Alvin can get Zay to try almost anything once. With Autism, food can be an issue because of sensory issues around texture, seasoning, etc. Zay put in hard work at feeding therapy between 4.5-5.5 years old. For him the focus was to just try instead of refusing, which worked wonders because he’s expanded and eats all kinds of food now, even spinach. My baby now loves him some pomegranate and tears it up. Proud momma moment.
