Hubbs said he'd be home late for dinner (he's trying different recipes for peppermint bark and needs the big camp kitchen for space) and i told him the kids were great and to take his time. Literally the moment after i texted him everything went to hell 🥴 Kids screaming, naomi busting open a squeeze toy that was apparently filled with orbeez so i immediately picked up my 9 month old and put her in her high chair (which she hates so she was screaming) so i could panic clean the orbeez so she doesn't eat them and my son was terrterrorizing my 2 year old and running aorund the house loud and crazy. It was a bit of sensory overload but we survived it. Phew what a night lol. But all 4 of my babies are sound asleep in their beds and im watching harry potter in my cozy jammies and drinking hot cocoa.
