What to do with Max's tantrums?

I'm at my absolute wits end with Max's behaviour atm. I never went through this with Morgan so could this just be a phase (although it's gone on for ages already!). Please help 🙏🏻 Max is 5. But he still tantrums like he's a toddler. But much worse because he's bigger & louder. It starts from the moment he wakes. I'll break his tantrums down.

Part 1

He doesn't want to get up, get dressed. Can't decide what he wants for breakfast. Wants me to do it. Wants to do it himself. Doesn't want to brush his teeth, get coat on, walk to school. Doesn't want me to drop him off first, doesn't want me to drop Morgan off 1st 🤦🏻‍♀️

Part 2

I should have picked up Morgan 1st. I should have picked him up 1st. Wants more snack or a snack I haven't got. Doesnt want Morgan to talk to him, or look at him on the way home.

Part 3. He's hungry but doesn't want dinner (unless it's rice or pasta). Doesnt want to brush teeth. Want's bath first. Doesn't want to go to bed. Wants a story but tantrums/ argues over who picks story 1st.

I haven't added every single tantrum because I'd be here all day but you get the idea! I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of. I've just asked their Dad to do bedtime routine because after asking him to brush his teeth 10 times tonight, I just want to shout or cry at him.

I just want to add inbetween all the tantrums we also have plenty of love, fun & games. The tantrums are just becoming so frequently & for almost any reason I'm so exhausted by the time he finally falls asleep I have no energy for anything else!
