I started my nursing career when I was 20 as a CNA for a supported living agency who helps keep people in their homes to have what is considered a normal life. I just found out I lost one of my ex clients and a dear friend over the weekend and the online shiva is this evening.
As far as I’m concerned, once again Kaiser let yet another person with disabilities waste away and die too young. In 20 years, this is my fourth client I’ve lost too young that was a Kaiser patient. Kaiser is not the place if you have cancer or a disability, they’re fat phobic and disability haters. I refuse to be a Kaiser patient, I’d rather die my damn self cause they’ll likely kill my ass anyway.

Chose to not renew Kaiser this year and currently going to pay substantially more for blue cross but I really don’t care at this point. Their standard of care is insanely low and they have been sued big time for Medicare fraud. Like adding diagnoses and tests to patient charts to get more money from the state. They are an absolute scam.
My son struggled for months and they would never see him in office. Just video visits and kept telling me he had allergies. He was getting WEEKLY Covid tests just to attend daycare bc his symptoms were so bad. Once someone did finally look (after a 104 temp for almost a week) he was found to have fluid behind his ears and double ear infection. He was so used to his ears hurting and feeling miserable that it became normal for him. 10 days on antibiotics was all it took and all symptoms were gone. They’re assholes.

That's absolutely terrible. :( I haven't hear anything good about Kaiser.

Why I'll never switch to them! My mom was trying to convince me to switch since they have it and I told her my children's doctor isn't covered by them so I'd have to find a new one. There doctor has been the #1 pediatrician in my city since 2014 and is especially excellent with children who are different abled. He is amazingly loving and can make Luna stop crying plus is always making sure they all get any referrals they night need. He's amazing! So why would I trade all my great services for crap kaiser? No way 👎🏻
