There’s a little girl at my daughters bus stop who had Covid, she was out for two weeks. The kids returned back to school today from vacation and this little girls mom told me that she thinks her dad has Covid but won’t go get tested…In my mind I freaked out because why are you sending your child to school if you think the dad has Covid?! Mind you they all live together and he just started showing symptoms…Would you call the school and alert them or just mind your business?
What is school’s policy? Ours don’t require quarantine for close contacts but I live in the south so it’s like a different world down here
Our district is pretty strict. Unfortunately if the nurse thinks a child has symptoms, they get sent home and can’t go back until a Covid test is done & is negative. My daughter has had several colds since the start of school which resulted in a few Covid tests to be able to go back! I just don’t want to sound like I am over reacting. The little girl herself has a terrible cough. So…that’s why I’m unsure if I should just keep to myself.
