So.. i have the most wildest boy like ever. A year ago he was messing around and when I tried to stop him from running in the living room he lunged himself from my arms and smacked right into the side table. Broke half his tooth & the dentist decided to just take it out. Well this past weekend he ate it pretty hard on his quad thing at his dads and one of his tooth was knocked loose. I kept him on soft diet, made an appointment with dentist right away and made sure he didn't touch it. Dentist said he would be totally fine if it did come out & not to freak out. Last night I came home & as he was eating noodles he comes to get me in the kitchen and said "mommy come here and get my tooth" WTF. Get to the living room & he points and said "my tooth" & just continued eating like it was nothing. He's clearly in no pain, and even tho they said not to worry I'm worrying 😭 it just makes me feel like a bad mom for some reason, like I should have been able to do something to save it idk 😪 anybody else ever have this happen?? Thanks for listening to me vent ❤️

Don’t beat yourself up at least they are baby teeth! My youngest went threw a stage where he would bash his head on the ground when he was mad.. he has at least 3 chipped teeth from doing this.

My daughter has, at different times, had each of her front teeth go freaking grey because of taking some dives into tables/ pavement tooth first. They did eventually end up lightening back up and the teeth didn’t break so she was able to keep them but people did not look at my kids’ grey teeth and think I was mom of the year. There were times when I may have preferred them to have just fallen out. However, it was funny to see the little sly smile from the moms who must have been there before. Like some grey tooth kids club that nobody talks about. Don’t beat yourself up. They’re just baby teeth. You’ll probably miss that gummy grin when the adult teeth come in
