Sooo we bought pretty much everything for the kitten we are trying to get for my daughter’s birthday which is Thursday but we have yet to hear back from any of these adoption agencies we applied too 😒 ..of course lol

Where did you find the agencies? I was checking petfinder.com the other day and saw a lot of available in my area. Maybe they’ll be more responsive there?

So I applied to 3 local adoptions agencies & 1 that is an hour away (they’re only doing appointments) & then sent my application to 2 on pet finder but when I called the number that was provided someone said because the kittens are in foster homes, the people taking care of them go through the applications. I didn’t think it would be this hard adopting a cat.

This seems ridiculous.. where I am there are so many kittens to rehome the process is usually done really fast. My mom adopted 2 kittens last year and brought them home the day after filling out the application. Are you able to call and check up on the applications? I can only imagine how stressed you are with her bday being Thursday 😩

It’s really ridiculous!!! Girl I’ve called so many places that I’m getting a headache, a few told me the application process can take up to a week & others haven’t gotten back to me & the fact that I bought all the supplies this kitten will need & it’s just sitting here not be bing used pisses me off.

If only you were closer. We get stray cats here all the time and they have kittens. We just had a litter of kittens and no one wanted the one little guy so he's staying in our goat building.
