That absolutely broke my heart. The mentality there, adults not only doing nothing but taking part in the bullying. And the fact that she told her mom how she was the best in the world before she died, making that the last thing she said to her just proves she has a heart of gold. This was so wrong.

That’s the part that is truly heartbreaking: the adults are actually taking part in this bullying and discriminatory behaviors which reinforces and validates the behavior of the children. It’s a really sick generational cycle

there should be criminal charges or someone should lose their license. It's really sick. Anyone who could be cruel to a child like that. My niece who is on the autism spectrum is SO hard on herself. I can't imagine bullying on top of it.

I want to say what is wrong with kid's these day's but alot of the time they learn it from their parents ignorance and not teaching your kid's right from wrong. Our school has an absolutely no bully policy so you will get written up and a note sent home. You get more than 4 after taking away privileges you get expelled. Kid's actually volunteer to go into the Autism classes and I nearly tear up knowing you really can change future generations. This is absolutely heartbreaking to hear and I feel so bad for the family and that sweet girl 💔.

@fairykarmamomma ahhhh maaaan! My son just had his 9th birthday and I'm seriously so sad we're almost in thw double digits 😩. William is so amazing and he's grown into such a crazy funny kid. He's been trying to be more independent in the house. What are the plans?

@itsmelyyyy, That is so sweet to hear! There’s nothing more heartwarming than to see them evolve and reach milestones. I’ve got quite the independent little guy slowly evolving. He’s telling me he’s parched and needs refreshing water and asking me what’s the atmosphere.
Our plans so far are beach run spring break and Halloween with the mouse. He’s ready after my avoiding it for years. I wanted him to be okay with more of his sensory stuff before I let that trip happen.

William likes to try and do everything by himself from getting his own water to dressing himself from school. He always helps me in the mornings by getting backpacks and reminding me we need to lack lunch lol. He's seriously goofy and just growing into an almost pre teen 😩. You know I understand that too! I really hope whatever you guy's do he has a great time on the trip. I really need to make a trip to the beach too I know William will hand flap all day just watching waves. He is all for car rides especially since we have a Playlist we listen to, his current favorite song is Axel F by crazy frog and the gummibar guy. He closes his eyes on school drives and just dances 😄

For these issues to be ignored and teachers egging on the bullying, there needs to be serious consequences. That teacher fired and a NO BULLYING policy fully enforced. This boils my blood. That girl should have never encountered that behavior at school and even if once, corrected immediately! There is no exemption to treat anyone poorly. Especially for their color of skin. I’ve lived in Northern Utah my entire life. I experienced major racism in elementary. But as our community grew there was more POC in the area and that lowered the racism by far. Davis county is predominantly Caucasian and should have policies set in place to protect minorities. But even more so to protect children with autism. I’ll be calling this school and the district. I may not live in this county but I am a Utah resident. This is so terrible.
