My younger 2 are now sick and have nasty wet coughs and runny noses and today i get sent an email that our entire district has been moved to remote learning until after Thanksgiving break 🥴 this is going to be fun keeping up with their zoom schedules for 2 kindergartners in 2 different classes. Good thing i bought wine on saturday.

Girl, I didn't do it! I couldn't. My girls were Ble to do pretty good on their own but with the 3rd thrown in there it was like I was a chicken running around with my head cut off. They took breaks at different times, I had to hand them papers and get stuff. It was a lot. Wine is a good idea! Lol

I know there's 4 different meetings for the classroom for my daughter and then classes for the PE teacher, music, and other specials. Which is just ridiculous. I'll probably only participate in the necessary ones. My son came home with no info on what's going on because he has a sub until january (his teacher had a baby in october) so I have no idea what his schedule is or what's going on with that one

@countrypeaches42013 we didn't do the specials either. Not going to lie, we barely did them at all! Lol my son's teacher pre recorded which was awesome! We only did good morning announcements from her and if I needed to go back and look. It was too much and my 2yo runs around naked! I was ready to pop with the baby. Don't feel bad, just torn in the paper part and they will be fine!

@scidg3 turns out covid is rampant through the district all of a sudden and they became so short staffed they couldnt run the school legally.

But they said nothing about being in quarentine. Just decided since they dont have the staff to be able to run school they are shutting down. Which I think is fair of them and I respect that they are doing what's right instead of trying to force doors to stay open and hinder education.
