What to do with DD's painful nails?
Doctors appointment for DD in an hour. She keeps complaining of her nails hurting and I can’t do anything to help it. Epsom salt soaks and Tylenol isn’t doing anything (per doctors orders last week). I am tired of seeing her in pain. She says they feel like they are going to fall off. Ugh. I hope we can get some answers soon. I don’t feel comfortable giving her pain meds all the time. I’m stressed out over this.

If her regular pediatrician isn’t sure what to do, try a dermatologist. They know about nail issues

They do look normal.

Well some nails have a dark pink color and some have a little yellow hue.

Last time we saw the NP and this time saw the doctor. I like her, her last pediatrician retired. But I like this one more!

Has she had her nails done at salon recently? My sister got an infection in her big toenail from a pedicure one time. I didn’t know that was a thing but maybe it could be that?
