I’m honestly so sick of these people who use “religion” as an excuse to not vaccinate. Even traditionally anti-vaccine religions have urged their people to get vaccinated for covid, like Christian scientists. Not to mention…..The pope. The Mormons, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists…the list goes on and on. Stop using your religion to hide behind the fact you are willfully choosing not to protect society.
And additionally if Jesus was alive he’d be vaccinated. Because for Jews it’s a mitzvah 💁🏼♀️💁🏼♀️💁🏼♀️
So don’t use him as your excuse either

This reminds me of a wonderful fairy tale. Guy was in a hurricane, house fills up with water, he seeks refuge on his roof. A boat came by and the man refuses to get on he says “I don’t need you, god will save me!” Another man comes by with an even bigger boat, food, supplies urging him to get to safety. The man says again “I don’t need any of that or you, god will save me!” The second boat shakes his head and leaves. Eventually the man doesn’t have his roof anymore and gets killed in the flood water. Upon entering heaven he said “god, I was calling for you, why didn’t you save me?” God shakes his damn head and says, “you fool, I sent you TWO BOATS”
If people are going to use religion to be against the vaccines, they can also use it as a reason to get it. If that’s what they believe, this could be god trying to save them but NO.
