Did y'all KNOW cinnamon rolls taste SOOOOO much better when "you make da dough inna shape of wetters"?? 😏 The boys just think it's like the coolest thing EVA! I got a SUPER thumbs up y'all, "EVEN wif dese bananas"! 🤣
Aunt Nikki (Eli's Mom) picked them up from school yesterday, I went and grabbed them from her last night bout 8ish and we had a sleepover. This mornin I'm gettin them fed, cleaned up and dressed so Aunt Nikki can come pick em back up. They're goin to her step brothers house with his wife, 2 kids, new bounce house and trampoline they've recently gotten! 🥳 They're gonna blow up the bounce house, let the kids get distracted with that and HOPEFULLY be able to put the trampoline together. 🤞 Good luck to them! 😬The boys are SUPER DUPER excited though, it's SO cute!! 😍
I love our multi-family dynamic we've got with Eli's family. We've always meshed so well, our parenting styles were plagiarized from the same book. I love love LOVE it, SOOOO much! There's another house my child feels at home in, another set of parents he's comfortable sharing/talking to (sometimes Aunt Nikki can get somethin out of him that he didn't wanna tell me. She's AMAZING), and another group of genuine folks helping to show him unconditional love, honesty, integrity, understanding, empathy and to be open minded. Like....could your kid EVER have TOO many places like that?? 🙌 I think the think NOT! 💕
***Side note: We were ACTUALLY able to get an appointment for Kai's vaccination! 🤯 I REALLY thought it'd still take us at least a few months to get in. Next Friday is dose 1! 🥳🥳***

I'm jealous in a good way of your beautiful little pod of a family. <3 That's been hard for us because we waited until our 30s to have a baby and all our friends had tweens and teens by then. It's absolutely wonderful!

I'm an older Mama too and it REALLY is a challenge! Garrett and Nikki are a different story though. They each have a daughter from previous relationships, that are both now tweens, 😫 that are BARELY 6 months apart; Amelia and Emily...how cute is that? Anyway they were both single, met each other, he knocked her up and now we have Eli! 🥰 Garrett grew up out here too, we've all known each other since elementary school and Nikki just fit in PERFECT!! 😍
