Idk if it’s only in Utah. But there’s been debates on what night to trick or treat on. I’m like ON HALLOWEEN 🎃 duh. Lol we got so many tonight. I wasn’t even home for most of them. We are going out tomorrow for sure. Any one else been having the debate?
I haven’t heard anything where I’m from but I just find it to dumb like keep to the old school traditions so many people try to change things now and days it blows 🥴

from my experience, the people make the church and then decide how they'll do things. The church is kind the government or the government is like the church? 🤔 Hmm, lol. But I think I understand, in theory, the church would work perfectly, but add in people... it gets messy
I’ve seen a few people comment on here about Halloween being celebrated today in their area. I think it’s stupid. Trick or treat on Halloween regardless of when it lands. It’s not that serious.
I guess I need to keep scrolling. But honestly I don’t think I see everyone’s posts. It’s really not that serious. And if a person doesn’t want to hand out candy, keep the porch light off lol
I don't know why some people said their city town whatever was trick or treating tonight or yesterday. I'm like wtf why? Never heard of ppl doing it on another day. Just trick of treat ON Halloween...who cares if it's on a Sunday Monday Tuesday 🤷🏾♀️
Seriously. But this happens with all holidays here. It’s Uber annoying if something lands on a Sunday. Only holiday that’s good on Sunday is Easter LOL
One city nearby decided to change it to Saturday this year but all others have kept it the same, I think. There’s no reason to change the day when it’s always been on Halloween especially since our area has a specific timeframe for trick or treating. In my city, trick or treating is from 6-8pm and for kids up to age 14.

We get kids at our door until 10 usually. I don’t discriminate on age, if you dress up. You get a candy lol but parents get some too. They have to get energy bursts hahaha
it is! I never heard of trick or treating rules like this until I moved here. Where I grew up there were no limits on age or time.
The age limit here used to be 12 but they changed it a few years ago. Surrounding cities still have the 12 age limit though.
It’s a class 4 misdemeanor if over the age of 14 or trick or treating after 8pm though I’ve never heard of anyone actually being charged.
I kinda wish it was Saturday this year 😂 like the actual Halloween day. Only cause I’m pregnant and this first trimester exhaustion is kicking my ass. But it’s fine,I’m fine 🥱

Would be nice to be on a Saturday for sure! I can’t wait. We are carving pumpkins and getting the house ready (wind took out most of our decor).

I know I’m late to the question here but it was such a huge debate here in Oklahoma as well. A lot of towns did trick or treating Saturday instead. My town stayed with Halloween for trick or treating.
