Has anyone had to see a cardiologist for their baby while being pregnant? I want to my anatomy scan and my doctor couldn’t get good pictures of the overall heart because baby wasn’t cooperating and now my anxiety is through the roof and I’m worried that’s something is wrong with the babies heart 😭

Did they suggest coming for another ultrasound in a week or two?

No he tired for ten minutes to get the pictures of his heart and then baby wouldn’t budge his little chin was so tucked into his neck area so he said they work with a pediatric cardiologist and he was going to refer me there so they can try to get better pictures. He didn’t say anything was abnormal but still it’s so stressful 😭

oh okay. With my first pregnancy the ultrasound tech couldn't get good pictures of my son's face but the doctor just had me come back in 1-2 weeks for another ultrasound and they were able to get better pictures then.

with my other son they couldn’t get good pictures of his heart either but like you I just came back a few weeks later and they got the pictures they needed but this time he didn’t give me that option so now I’m like did he see something and just not tell me 😧 I have horrible anxiety so my first thought is to think the worst possible scenario.

They couldn’t get good pics of the heart with my first and had me come back 2 weeks later and they were able to get them fine at that time. There was nothing wrong. I hope that’s the case for you!!
