@mimixtmn @mom2godzillaandwonkypets I believe school starts at 8 for my littles but they are one of the first to get picked up and have an hour long bus ride. The school is about 15 mins from our house. 🥴
That’s insane I cannot imagine how hard that is for them. I actually saw a viral video of a mom whose young child was left on the bus because she fell asleep and it was same thing the kids were picked up super early and long bus ride. My oldest is the only one who takes the bus and he gets picked up at 940 am and is at school by 950 am but his stop is the last pick up on the route.
my kids sit right at the front and their bus driver is really good and would see if she fell asleep. Plus she sits with her brother. And I have to be outside waiting for the bus when they come home otherwise they wont let them off the bus if theres no adult outside waiting for them (in our driveway) so I'd see they both get off. It's just wild that they are gone 9 hours. If the school was closer I'd drive them myself but that would put a lot of miles on our vehicle and gas is so expensive (not getting into politics it's just a fact) and we have a big ol expedition. My kids don't seem bothered by it at all surprisingly but they are really easy going and happy to just go with the flow.

My kids don’t take the bus but we wake up at 7am. The gate opens at 8:55

The bus comes around her at 615 for elementary they have to be in class at 7am

im not sure why last year was 835 start time for the elementary kids which it had been that was since my step daughter was in the schools here
