I’ve been up for four hours with contractions that hurt enough to keep me awake. When I lay down they really hurt and when I stand they’re not too bad. No Mucus plug or water break. What should I do??
@addeeisme, I’m officially 37 weeks. This baby is big. So they are hoping I have this baby natural this week. No later than Friday. I’m 3cm dilated and they stripped my membranes on Friday. So I’m starting to have contractions. Just need them to be a little closer. Right now I feel a Braxton hick followed by period like cramping that goes all the way down to my legs. So I’m hoping those are my contractions. It’s so crazy. It’s my 3rd baby and I feel like it’s my first rodeo. Like idk what to look for lol I
@scam822, oh how fun 🥰 well hopefully it goes smoothly for you. I’m convinced my body doesn’t go into labor naturally at this point. I had a baby three years ago and I’m clueless as well haha. It’s always so different
Def time them and then call the dr office. Once you can’t talk through your contractions you should be heading out to the hospital. Praying all goes well for you and you have a speedy labor and delivery and healthy baby. 🤍
My water didn’t break on its own for either of my babies. I would call your doc and talk to whoever is on call. I’d imagine they’d want you to go get checked
A "consistent"' 3 to to 5 minutes means hospital time. Your water doesn't always break on it's own or sometimes it waits till your much further into labor and I didnt ever visibly see myself lose my mucus plug before actual labor.
