Nipple butter recommendations?? I pumped two days in a row to get colostrum and they’re a bit sore now lol
Yikes don’t pump until after you’ve had your baby! I can’t imagine how painful that must be and it can induce labor. Completely unnecessary! Milk production begins once the placenta detaches. As far as nipple cream, it’s been a while but really any nipple cream will do. And your own breastmilk helps too.
@2sweetie, my first I basically went to 42 weeks!! I’m terrified this one is going to do that haha
@2sweetie, I had my midwife pop my water at 41w4days. 14 hours later I got him out. He was almost 9 pounds 21 and a half inches.
Just put your own milk and air dry as much as possible. There are also cooling pads you can use, if you are still in the hospital they should have samples of that this stuff and they can help you with sizing.
Have you had your baby yet? If not I wouldn’t be pumping at all, it’s not recommended until 4-6 weeks pp. I like earth mama organics nipple butter. I also swear by using polysporin complete for raw cracked nipples, it was recommended to me by a lactation consultant with my oldest and have used it with all 4.
Medela tender care lanolin nipple cream worked wonders for me but if you haven't had your baby yet I would not be pumping
