After you give birth it’s best to stay as hydrated as possible and make sure you’re eating enough protein. Anything before that is pretty much a waste. Aside from your prenatal vitamins, “lactation supplements” are pretty hit or miss. It all has to do with hydration and calories. You should be eating an extra 500 calories a day and drinking at least half of your post pregnancy body weight in water.
