That one was the worst for my body. My dr thought it would have less effects than the Mirena but it didn’t. The bleeding was super heavy, so much so it scared the crap out of me and I went to the ER. The cramping was awful. I was on so many different pain pills and nothing worked. I dealt with it for 4 years and still ended up pregnant on it. That’s not a normal thing, very rare it can happen.
@countrypeaches42013, if you’ve had any issues with any IUD my dr said probably none of them will work right. I think I just have the worst luck with the IUD’s.
I replaced my mirena with the copper paragard last month. I had cramping and heavy bleeding for about a week. But the bleeding was also due to my period. No spotting after that(surprise) I just started my period yesterday and my flow is kind of heavy but I’m just glad to have my period back after all of these years lol
