My 6 month old wakes up pretty much all night long and refuses to nap and thinks i need to nurse her all day, so tonight is our first night of sleep training. Its going to be gentle on her, not going to lay her down and let her scream all night. But make a nice transition for her. Praying it goes well. I really need sleep and so does she. We are in an overtired rut that I can't seem to help her get out of. But we will try!

It will be hard at first but it does get easier! You got this I hope it goes smoothly for you guys.

@michellemybell09 @scidg3 and we are already up and screaming lol. It's a big and sudden change. I'm trying to keep it as similar as I used to. Transitions are so hard for littles. I just can't be up nursing her all night. Like literally 5 times a night and 20 mins each time. I pull her in bed with me but I'm too scared I'll fall asleep and hurt her so I dont sleep and then the moment I lay her down, not even 10 mins later shes up wanting to nurse again. It's just frustrating that she wont nap during the day, wont sleep at night, and screams if I'm not holding her 24/7. Putting her on the floor to play is like I just abandoned her. I'm just getting so overwhelmed with exhaustion and my back has been bothering me so much lately and with my older 2 starting school I'm trying to settle into a routine with them and find balance but I'm just running so thin right now and just beg God to let her sleep not just at night but nap during the day so I can do stuff without her screaming.

13 awwwww I was asking cause I was my oldest son's paci too. At the time the girls were the only ones missing out but they adjusted. Lol it's crazy how different each kid is! I hope you were able to get some sleep last night!

Oh girl that’s exhausting my son was the type to never sleep 😩
I hope something works out soon so you can get some rest, does she like lullabies or white noise ?
Adrienne Kark··
@michellemybell09 I use white noise all the time and it helps a lot but not enough. She's just really needy. She is super adorable and smiles so much, she just likes me to always be near her and holding her and my back just can't take it sometimes 🥴 She did great last night, only woke up twice so that was wonderful.

Do you baby wear? My little will nap if I wear her. That way I can get things done during the day. I have no advice for nights but I wish you and her luck and sleep!

I used to but being 6 months old she doesnt enjoy it as much

Have you started solids yet? Maybe feeling her a fuller meal at night will help with her being so hungry. Also she might be going through a leap and wanting to nurse more often. Honestly it’s tough but I would completely refuse to nurse her at night unless maybe 1 time at night. It’s such a bad habit to break when they nurse all night I’ve been there and my son even after a year old wanted to nurse all night long for you mental health I hope you can break it fast might be hard but cutting her off the boob at night has to be done.

Yeah we do solids and girl eats a lot. I have 3 older kids and never dealt with this with any of them. My others I could scoop them up and comfort them back to sleep but she just thinks she needs to be glued to my body at all times. Even cries when my husband walks around with her instead of me 🥴
