My grandmother had already made her funeral plans down to paying for it. She did this a year ago when covid hit hard. Imagine that! Getting it set up could take time because with Covid, it’s taking longer to get bodies released. Now we are just waiting on word of a date, but I will be flying to Houston pretty soon. So sad

I will not be tested for COVID unless I am showing all signs of having it! They taking newborn babies away from their mothers if they test positive. Over my cold dead body! No ONE will take my baby away from me bet!

@fairykarmamomma, I thought she was doing better, that was the last post I saw. I can’t even imagine what you are going through. My grandmother is my world and I’ve only seen her twice since Covid started and it was outside so we could stay separated.

she was doing better, then her oxygen started dipping when she sat up, so they doubled her oxygen. Then she got better again, but randomly just stopped breathing yesterday and she had a DNR on file, so she passed away.

I am so very sorry. She was obviously a very thoughtful lady, taking that burden off of everyone.
I was reading a very eye opening article written by a mortician in Texas about covid, what they're going through, and the PTSD they are suffering. They're definitely heroes right now who are completely overlooked. I may post it with a trigger warning.
