Eric Update 🤒: We took him to the ER yesterday after his temp hit 104.1°. They reassured us that it’s a definite virus. Not RSV or Covid. 🙌🏼. They told us that the Tylenol & Motrin are under dosed on the boxes for legal reasons. So while the box says he can have 5mL he can actually have 6.5mL. They said we shouldn’t freak out about the high temp; that just like Global Warming, it’s the body trying to kill off the bad. 😅😵💫. He hasn’t had much of an appetite (but, he never does 🙄), however he’s been chugging water & pedyalite, so that’s great!
The high temp still makes me nervous though, so I held him while he slept the last two nights. Im exhausted, but as long as he’s safe.

There have been studies here lately to actually raise the normal body temp due to this. My son runs 99.1-99.4 as his normal temp all the time. When he was a baby I used to freak out but they always reassured me too! Hope your boy gets to feeling better soon.
