Yes! We have a blue bucket we got from school and cards to hand out that say thank you I may not be able to say it all the time and explaining autism. So if you see light up blue buckets remember this also!!
well it's my oldest son's birthday so we always have a party just us here and will do the same again, some pumpkin carving, pizza and cake as usual which I'm fine with.
Is this towards adults who are giving out candy or people going door to door and encounter the group in front of them? Because on Halloween, I will give candy to whoever comes to my door no matter what they look like, how they act, or how they’re dressed! Makes no difference to me! It’s Halloween! 🎃
Both. There are a lot of judgements made to those who can’t say “trick or treat” or thank you.. or judgments made towards people how aware “too old” to go trick or treating. To me you can go trick or treating regardless of age or what you’re wearing. When I do give out candy I give it out to whoever come to my house
Same! People don't realize there are people on the spectrum who are 20+ years old who still love Disney shows and also trick or treating. Nothing wrong with that! We just all need to learn not to pass judgment on anyone different abled. ❤🧩
Do people legitimately get mad or make a fuss about these things? I give candy to anyone who comes to my door. I have never questioned someone not wearing a costume. I mean not everyone can afford one.
And if someone gets mad because someone doesn’t say trick r treat then I’m sorry they should reevaluate their life.
If only everyone can just follow the basic rule of being nice to everyone and be a decent human.
I never get upset about any of this, it really takes a lot to get me upset and this is the last thing I’d be mad about. I remember as a kid not being able to dress up cause my parents couldn’t afford to buy costumes and we had to make our own. It’s dumbfounding to me the way people act anymore. Let kids be kids as long as they want and don’t try to rush growing up. Leave people alone and quit being judgmental is my thing. I’ll give out candy to whoever comes to my door.

I was as well. There is no age on trick or treating. I hate how people judge people for the smallest things.
