My poor girl had a knock down drag out this morning. She absolutely DID NOT want to go to school today. After an hour and a half of screaming and crying we finally decided to just let her stay home. I feel bad letting her “skip” already but maybe she just needs a mental rest day. Idk. I guess today will just be a lazy day and hopefully Monday morning will be much better!

Luckily I don’t work so her staying home was an option. Hopefully your mama heart isn’t too hurt today after a rough a morning!

In the future, I would stick with making her go. Otherwise she will learn that if she cries hard enough then she will get what she wants. Good luck!

I really wanted to stick to it today but I guess the mom guilt won and she was already late😩 she usually loves school but I think she was just still tired.
