Hi ladies Reuben was sick on Sunday night then all day yesterday and has started being sick this morning. When we’re cleaning it up it’s like curdled milk. Do u think it could be a tummy bug or maybe his milk is sitting heavy on his tummy? We’ve took his milk off him now, and are thinking of ringing the doctors for advice but I wanted to hop on here and ask for some advise too. He’s also fine in himself like playing but seems a bit of an effort if that makes sense😞 hate seeing him poorly xx

Sounds like a bug, don’t give milk with an unsettled stomach, stick to water and dry foods until he isn’t throwing up, hope he gets better soon x

Thanks hun. We tried him with biscuits and toast but not interested he also has no interest in water either. He only wants fruit shoots and I know there full of sugar and won’t help xx

can you put some diyralyte (not sure how to spell it) in a fruit shoot bottle? It’s a black current flavour and puts the leukocytes I think back in his system xx

It sounds like the sickness bug. Like @ezchaz, said stick to dry foods and no milk as you said milk curdles when they are sick just make sure he is getting plenty of fluids x

he’s drank some of the dioralyte in his fruit shoot bottle but deffo knows that there’s something not right lol. X

Offer him the fruitshoot if he will drink it but just remind him hes guna have to brush his teeth good! I was in hospital with my youngest with a gastro bug and they said give him it if that's what he will drink cos its still a fluid, maybe try and offer him some icepops too. Hope he has a speedy recovery! After my youngest was sick with the milk he wouldn't have it again! Xx

Thanks hun. Ive tried tricking him into the dioralyte in a fruit shoot bottle but he’s like no can I have one out the fridge cause he knows it’s not the same 🤨. Kids eh!! When he was sick yesterday he wouldn’t have anymore but then today he’s been whinging for one but I know he will throw it back up, mum suggested using green top milk as it’s not so heavy. X
