Hey ladys,
Have a quick question, did any of you ladys have change your choice on the hospital to give birth at.
I have picked one and did told my midwife so all my scans was there but midwife was at different hospital 😁 where i gave birth to my son but due to bad experience there i wanted to give birth at different hospital bit now i been readimg the reviews and seems like its nor so great either 😕.
Then now i have gone trhough my third option of hospital and it seems so good, and reviews are good they kust dont do epidural there, which is finw as i dont want to have one anyway due to bad experience again 😁.
Do you think i can change the hospital now, when i go to my 34 weeks midwife appointment 🤔?

Me personally wouldn't go to the third hospital if they don't offer epidural cos for whatever reason if things aren't going smoothly and you need a c section you'll be put under a general and will miss the whole thing and once come round then meet your baby. But that's just my opinion. Ask about it though because I may be wrong xx

They mentioned if I need epidural then by ambulance they will take me to my second option which is Barnet Hospital this is the one I have my all scans at the moment and I picked as the hospital to give birth at, its like 10 mins by ambulance. X

I changed hospitals last minute with my first. Initially I wanted it at a consultant led hospital but then I saw my midwife led unit and asked to go there and it was closer. They agreed but that I would need a growth scan as they said baby on larger side. Which he was. So then I had to go another consultant led hospital which was closer than the 1st one. In the end I just should've stayed at first one even if it was like a 50 minute drive. The other was like 45min drive and midwife unit was like 10mins.
