honestly I was always told not to use soap, but once I started my ears have never been better. I take mine out every other day, before my shower and just let the soap and water run on them, no direct soap and I have no issues. But I could be wrong about this entire thing. I'd definitely look into, cause it could also be a sign of an infection starting up.
What material are your tunnels? Acrylic is best. I've noticed silicone creates moisture, especially in summer or even after a shower, which makes one's ears itch and peel (not to mention the smell even if you clean then daily). How long have you had your ears gauged?

@dope.ass.mom yes. It ended up being the tunnels I was using, or you could be the soap your using? Did you change that up?
