Every day I wake up and it’s like i relived my nightmare over and over. It hits me really hard. My life will never be the same. I do believe my mom does visit me. My mom wasn’t able to sit with us in the living room for about two years because of her legs. She wanted to to watch tv with us and spend time. My tv in the living room stopped working months ago. I didn’t replace it and just left it because we don’t watch tv often. I put her shelf up and her urn on the shelf in my living room. The same day something told me to plug the tv in and turn it on. I did and it works. perfectly. Nothing is wrong with it. My mom used to sing with my girls especially twinkle little star. I tell them my mom is a diamond in the sky. There’s a toy that goes off and it only plays “like a diamond in the sky”. My mom has been asking me to get a pork roll for her. We are in Va, pork roll is an up north thing. that’s where we are from. I could never find a pork roll in our stores. I went to the store, i’m waiting on my deli items and I look back and I see a pork roll. I bought it. I haven’t eaten it but I had to get it. Two days before my mom died my sister came over and brought her tomatoes from her garden. My mom had been talking about them forever and was so excited. She ate most of them with my daughter the day before she passed. There was one left. My mom died july 13th, that tomato she didn’t eat is till alive and well. I won’t eat it but i’m keeping it. I’ve had dreams about her too. Different things that make me feel she is connecting with me. My heart still hurts and I’m trying to get through each day. Love your moms. life will never be the same when she is gone.
