My sweet husband has been trying to surprise me and get my kiddo here to visit. He was supposed to come earlier this summer but he wasn’t vaccinated. I’ve been trying to get him vaccinated so he could come visit but he won’t. So now I’m like. Ok? Well that’s your choice I guess.
I had told him if he didn’t want to have the vaccine that he would have to wait for all the kids to be vaccinated. It’s looking like under 5 will not be able to get vaccinated before next year but now I’m wondering with delta if I even want unvaccinated people around us AT ALL even if we are all fully vaccinated. I don’t understand why this kid won’t just go get the shot.

That's a tough situation to be in. I'm sorry, but unfortunately even if you are fully vaccinated you can still get covid and give it to others, would you accept a visit if he takes a covid test and it's negative?

@squishymommy1 my son was the same way he's 18. My mom bribed him with money and he accepted lol kids idk if there is a compromise he will accept? It sucks and even if it doesn't protect us fully it gives us all way better odds of not getting critically ill if we do get the virus

and delta is so virulent and transmissible you literally only have to have contact or be near someone for less then a minute to get infected! And by then we will probably have a new variant that’s worse. Like lambda.
