Recently I made a post about having 2 periods in on month. Long story short I had my period July 9th until July 15th and then I got it again July 24th and I still have it. It’s over 7 days now and I feel like there’s no end in sight. My doctor isn’t open as it’s Sunday, they open back up tomorrow. What would y’all do?! A lot of people told me it’s my body getting back to normal basically after having 2 babies back to back but this doesn’t seem normal to me at all…I’m not going to lie, I’m worried.
@jenx, urine sample and blood test came back good so far. I’m going for the ultra sound tomorrow!
@mujerstillregal, I’m hoping so too! I can not deal with this. I’m to the point where I’m ready to tell them to take my uterus so I don’t have to bleed for a month with a one week break in between 😩
You may have an ovarian cyst or something messing with your hormones and cycles. They go away on their own a lot, but definitely get in to your doctor. I don't ignore anything that's off for my body. 99% of the time it's fine, but women always put their own health off and our families need us too much for that. :)
It's not really considered normal to bleed for more than 7 days, especially if it isn't slowing. It could be nothing is wrong, but it's best to contact your doctor tomorrow, they might want to see you.
So the issue is, I’m not heavily bleeding, which is a good thing. I’m just over and honestly want to see my doctor like ASAP.
Truthfully if it’s not normal for you, I’d call your OB and discuss it with a nurse or make an appointment to be seen. After you had your baby did this happen before or just this month?
So my doctor isn’t really to sure what the problem could be so she did some blood work to check my thyroid, a vagina swab, a urine sample and I have to get an ultra sound done to check the lining of my uterus and to see if there is any cysts/polyps. Unfortunately I just have to deal with the bleeding.
