I always waste so much money when I get paid. I really have a spending problem 😞. It’s hard for me not to shop. I actually have my sister holding my credit cards. Idk what to do about my debit card. How do I learn to just not spend ?

Is it that you spend more than you really have and are paying interest on things, or is it money that you technically have that you should be saving and investing?

@serenity003 could you have part of your paycheck direct deposited to an investment account? A lot of banks have an investment counselor on staff who can help you set it up if your work doesn't offer it. If your work offers a 401k or similar program (especially if they match part of your contribution) it's really worth doing.
For example, my friend and I started at our company the same year. She spent her paychecks and I put 6% aside every paycheck and my company did a 3% match. I didn't really miss the money because was automatic. Over 15 years it became a 6 figure account. And that's a pretty meager investment with my employer match in an economy that had a few financial crises.
Don't beat yourself up about it, we all do stuff like that, but maybe take some steps to start growing your money. There are definitely people who can help you with the account set up, too.

you'll never regret it! As the years go by that money just grows and grows and you won't miss it a bit after the first few paychecks.
