Continue my dream of finishing my education or working full time with a company with good pay and benefits? The boss has gone through several employees, due to her being hard to work for . I cannot do both, the job will be very hectic and I need time with my family . I don’t know what to do ? My heart wants one thing. However the pay is awesome and in my job is in field i’m studying .

If you already have a job and benefits in the field you’re studying, what’s the advantage of finishing school? It seems like you don’t need a degree for that job to begin with. Experience weighs more than degrees these days.

the job isn’t promised forever . The boss has a very strong and demanding demeanor. She has gone through a few hr coordinators, assistants and generalists. I want to be prepared, and finish the degree I started . I get a full scholarship and stipend for living as long as I keep my gpa up .

My main thought is that it sounds good now, but if the hard to work for boss burns out on you in 4-5 years, will the full scholarship still be there and you'll be able to finish your degtee?

I would try to do both. How many credits are you required to take to keep the scholarship? It would be a sacrifice but I believe it’s doable. It sounds like it might be something you regret if you don’t finish your degree. You might not get paid more in this position once you complete it, but a lot of companies won’t hire you without it despite you having the experience if you decide to look elsewhere in a few years or if it doesn’t work out with this boss. Also, the fact that she has gone through so many employees would be a red flag for me and I would want to have a plan to fall back on.

Thank you , that is my problem. I tried both last semester and my grades suffered . It was too hard being a mom, homeschooling my son , working and going to school full time . I need to make a decision quickly .
