Anyone take zofran for morning/all day sickness? I read some stuff and it freaked me out but my dr prescribed it so I’m just a bit concerned.. I did write to him about it..

I refused to idk if they changed it but my sil took it while pregnant and her kid had a cliff lip and pallet 3 holes in his heart and has autism from it he had to have open heart surgery before he was 1. there was a big law suit out and many got lots of money. Idk if its changed since them I'm assuming so but that was 5 years ago

Omg 😳 I read very similar stories like this that’s why I refused to take it as well it really scared me I don’t want to take any chances! Thanks you so much for your response.

@boymom_3 I would ask for something different, being sick all day isn't great either let them know ur not comfortable with that one im sure they have others

I was scared to take it with my last pregnancy but I was so tired of going to the hospital every week which I ended up loosing 30lbs from not eating & the fact that I couldn’t take care of my other kids, I felt like I had no choice & my baby came out perfectly healthy!

Ugh I’m having the same issues I’m having a hard time taking care of my kids my husband had to take off twice because I was so out of it. I’m also breastfeeding so I’m scared I’ll get dehydrated because I can barely keep anything down. I’m just really scared to take it with everything I read. Did it help you?

@boymom_3, my husband made a good point to me at that time.. he told me by not taking it I’m killing myself from not eating/drinking (I couldn’t even get out of bed without fainting, that’s how bad it got) & that if anything were to happen later on then we’d figure it out together. So I took it & prayed & girl I’m telling you I felt SOOO much better after that!! I was able to eat & keep water down, it really changed everything!

oh god that’s terrible! I hope mine doesn’t get that bad! I’m going to try other remedies and see if it’ll help if not I’ll wait till the heart is fully developed to take it. Thank you 😊

I never took it either.. but vitamin b6 and unisom is another thing you can take. The unisom gave me horrible nightmares so I stopped taking it but the b6 worked wonders and you can take it 4 times a day

I had to take it eventually with both of my boys bc I could not function. They both were very healthy. And still are.

Glad to hear that! But I’m just not comfortable taking it especially because I’m not sure if the heart is fully developed yet..
