Took another step towards separating today. Told my mom what was going on. It was hard just because she has strong emotional reactions and strong opinions and it’s hard to feel like I have a voice around her. But at least it’s out in the open now.. one less thing to worry about. Soon to be ex husband is moving into an apartment Thursday. I’m trying to convince him to get a hotel until then but he keeps saying he wants to spend a little more time with the kids before he’s officially moved out… is there even a point in fighting it as long as he goes on Thursday… he comes home late and stays away from me, sleeps in another room. And we are meeting with a collaborative divorce attorney Thursday to get the ball rolling. I’m hoping we can settle everything without litigation but if I get any feeling he’s not being fair I’m going to switch to a regular attorney. I just want what’s best for my kids right now and keeping the peace is best for them… took off my wedding band and ordered a ring for myself from Tiffany so a little treat for me.
