What kind of cough is it? Is she congested? We always used children's Robitussin. Tastes horrible but got the gunk out quickly.

If age appropriate robitussin. Zarbees has a good one too. Or otherwise I would do honey and lemon

In Canada the only over the counter medicine for cough and colds is for over the age of 6. Maybe some honey? Vicks? Tylenol? Coughs tend to linger how is she feeling?

Most OTC cough meds are not safe for kids under 6. Your best bet would be humidifier in the room, Vick’s on her chest and neck (but make sure your read the bottles and grab the Vick’s approved for kids). Honey is a good natural remedy that can help calm a post nasal drip cough. Zarbees has some natural cough “meds” as well that are basically honey with other natural ingredients. Unfortunately there’s just not a lot of safe options for young kids unless the cough is bad enough for a prescription.
