Do i really have to take out my nip piercings for breastfeeding/pumping or is there a way around it ?
@momgroupreject I'm not sure if she will get them done again. She did surrogacy and pumped for that baby but I don't think she is pumping anymore. That baby is about 6 months so it hasn't been too long. Her letdowns were wild too she could soak through some pads, I'm guessing it was all the extra holes and she was constantly changing them! 😂
Yes definitely have to take them out. It poses a risk of a choking hazard to baby if it comes off and also I don’t ever see a baby sucking on a nipple with a nipple ring attached lol
Yea i kno that lol i thought it was ways for the hole not to close when i took it out lol
@msshani, there’s not a way around it. You’d have to put in a spacer to keep them open but that is still a choking risk to the baby. Just add it to the list of things you’ll have to sacrifice lol
Def need them out, would be quite dangerous and I would assume even more painful to keep them in.
I had my nipples pierced and by the time I was 6 months pregnant it was so painful to have them in. After breastfeeding for over a year, I didn’t even try to put jewelry back in. My nipples are still extra sensitive so I haven’t even wanted to get them redone. I did have milk come in all 3 of the holes though lol
