my friend who was about 18 weeks pregnant lost her baby. we haven’t been speaking due to an argument for about a month and half. she reached out to me yesterday to tell me she lost her baby and just got home from the hospital yesterday . I wanted to get her something, but i wasn’t sure what. is this appropriate? or should i get something else ?

Yes. Don't put too much thought into it. Just say sorry and be there for her. Maybe bring her dinner (lasagna or a gift card for take out) too
