The last of my husband’s grandparents left this earth today. He was 94. We won’t be able to get back for the funeral and shiva. So we are sitting shiva here at home. Which is easy in this heat 😂😂😂. He was an angry mean old man. But I’m still a bit sad about it. I wish he would have lived to see Mr 17 graduate high school.

Maybe the angry and mean showed itself by making you sit shiva in the heat. Haha.
So sorry for your loss. I remember how hard it was when my husband lost his grandmothers and how comforting it sometimes was to sit shiva with the rest of the family.
