@icebergahead that's what I mean. We are consuming FDA approved stuff daily that's killing us! I read an article the other day, breast milk contains "forever chemicals" that we've consumed and stay in our bodies. From plastics and such. So now not even our breast milk is safe!
The FDA isn't trustworthy whatsoever in my opinion.
Asbestos was magical (to the people) then, sadly they were not aware of the harm. I am always wondering what other harmful products are we using on a daily basis that will cause serious health problems, one day will fall under dangerous/hazardous.
Have you read about the “Radium girls”? Such a sad development prior to finally having OSHA.

There's more that they thought were fine too. Crazy times back then. Just think, things that are deemed safe now, in 20 years they'll find it unsafe.

reasons why I switched many of my food ware to glass a few yrs ago. It is hard enough to live plastic-free. Not easy. Many things come in plastic. 😑

it is so sad that those women fought so much legal bull until their early short and very painful deaths just to get some kind of justice.
