Люблю я лето ☀️за цветы и свет,

Который разливается повсюду,

Пейзажные рождаются этюды —

Прекрасный отдых от мирских сует.

Хочу впитать все запахи в себя,

Все краски лета сохранить в картинах,

Чтобы в холодных зимних днях рутинных —

Согреться ими, словно от огня.

I love summer for the flowers and the light,

Which spills everywhere,

Landscape sketches are born —

A wonderful break from worldly vanities.

I want to absorb all the smells in myself,

All the colors of summer save in pictures,

So that in the cold winter days of routine —

Warm up with them, as if from a fire.
