So my mother used a heavy, metal comb on my hair for about 3 years. It was awfully painful and she was brutal at brushing/combing my hair. If I cried, whined or even suggested to go easier, she’d hit me with that dam comb☹️
I found out yrs later it was meant for dog grooming. I asked her about it and she said because I had nappy, ugly uncontrollable hair so she opt for the dog comb instead.
She was evil and hated my hair but did not allow the independence of brushing my own mane way until HS.

Um I still use these.. lol never brushed my daughters neck ears or forehead tho

I have one in red 🤣 My daughters hates when I brush their hair with it because according to them “I’m pulling their hair” 🙄

This is an enemy to the curly haired people. That will not touch my hair😂

Both my girls hate them but only one of them has curly hair. I have curly hair too, it’s the only brush that will actually brush my hair down.
