Mommys with children with autism whether it be mild or severe, comment please 😩
@em90 thank you for this, tbh hearing other peoples stories on autism is making me feel somewhat relieved as Noah isn't doing any of those things, if you read my past comments you'll see, must be hard at times I'd imagine! You're one amazing momma ❤
Both mine are suspected autistic. So my oldest is actually currently diagnosed as developmentally delayed, however school say he is autistic. He has very bad anxiety, very repetitive like he will always want to watch the same movie over and over again, doesn't eat fruit, veg or mince has texture avoidance, he'd eat pizza everyday if he could, limited eye contact, hand flaps and you can be talking about a certain subject to him and he will just randomly start spouting facts at you about something he's into. He used to be very much on his own agenda but he has a 1:1 at school which has helped massively with that. His social communication isn't great either, he doesn't know how to talk to his peers or how to approach them to join in an activity or ask them to play.
My youngest is feral! He has sensory issues, hates labels, hates the feel of clothes, doesn't feel the cold, hates being the tiniest bit wet. He gets down on the floor and looks at cars/trains wheels moving around as he pushes them along the ground, spins things in front of his face. He is on his own agenda. Has no awareness of safety. Doesn't know how to behave in shops. Social communication is he's very much in their face doesn't like it if they don't do what he wants them to do, also antagonistic, enjoys winding people up. He often runs off. Always on the go. We also think he may have ADHD.
