I have plantar fasciitis (self diagnosed) i keep putting off going to the Dr. But i read how it usually resolves and hes on its own mine just seemsnto get worse and worse and very painful sometimes i cabt even walk on it. Its been a little over a year. Is that normal?? Anyone who has had it
I heard walking alot can do it. Which I used to before my third baby a year ago. Plus I don't ever sit during the day till my kids are I bed. Thinking I should do more stretches and see if that helps I do them sometimes right now not every day
I would def go see a dr. Self diagnosing isn’t the best and sounds like your diagnosis maybe wrong if it’s getting worse and worse. My mom has it but it doesn’t bother her much unless she’s very active, it’s more common as you age I think my mom got it around 50.
Non stop going... But yes I know I need to go get it checked. Always out it off lol
@anicole3285, trust me I know this all too well myself I need to take my ass to the dr right now I’m self diagnosing myself with psoriatic arthritis.. aging sucks lol
Have you tried to do any of the foot exercises recommended? Use a warm water bottle and roller it under your foot. Stretching it will also help. Sometimes you may need physical therapy or a steroid shot. They can also do different techniques using an ultrasound machine
I had it after a trip to Disney from all of the walking we did there. It bothered me for a long time after. I bought inserts for my shoes which helped a lot. I also rolled my foot on a frozen water bottle and did the stretches. Eventually it resolved itself, but it took a LONG time.
