I learned it’s ok not to be ok thanks to @leonardsquared, I’m going to try remembering that whenever I feel like I’m failing as a mom because I can’t do the things I used to do.....I’m just sick of feeling sick 😔
It is always ok not to be ok 💜💜 you’re strong for admitting it but when I look at this picture I see that little balloon in the back which I’m assuming is to celebrate one of your kids’ birthdays. They’ll never even know you’re not ok because even on your worst days, you are still the world to them. I can’t imagine how hard it is to go what you’re going through but I admire your strength for speaking out and showing up.

Totally agree. Toxic positivity is bull crap. You're allowed to feel exhausted, angry, worn out, sick. It doesn't mean you aren't grateful for your blessings or that you don't know thay life won't always be this way. It's okay to muddle in your feelings. Sometimes a day is just...sucky. And it's okay to express that.

I totally agree, it’s okay not to be okay. It’s a hard place to be, but that’s where our strength and adversity kicks in. I know your road has been tough so you are allowed to have your feelings, sit in them, feel them, know that you’re human and just going through it. Don’t forget your self care moments when everyone is in bed!

I am trying but it’s hard and I got my three year old a balloon that says princess because she is my princess. I want to get better so I can do things with her again like taking long walks, going to the playground and playing outside

I know it’s hard and I bet she loves that balloon! It’s a reminder to her of your love and I promise she won’t ever fault you for not being able to do those walks or go to the playground, there’s so much time. I hope these treatments work for you so that you can be back out there. I still promise she’ll never hold it against you though.

mine also, in 2007, so when you get a new one, or notice them, we can think our grannies giving us angel kisses - at least that’s what I think lol I was so embarrassed of them when I was younger.
