I knew an african american man from new orleans who would eat racoon, he loved it. I'm sure if we grew up eating it it would be fine lol what does it taste like? My old pastor cooks bear and alligator amongst other animals, he's from south louisiana too. You cajuns just have a different palate than the rest of the US. It's crazy how judgemental ppl on here are about what a whole other person puts IN THEIR BODY when they all drink nasty milk meant for a baby cow 🥴 #mybodymychoice am I right? Lol

Even dogs can have rabies but most things can be cooked out. It won't affect you.

I have had patients who would tell me recipes for all kinds of critters.
Most commercial food is treated horribly. Chickens can live their entire lives in cages they can't turn around or lay down in. That's freaking terrible. Eating wild animals has got to be healthier.

kept in tiny cages, pooping all over each other. It's horrible. People wouldn't eat it if they saw what commercial farming looked like. :(
