Does anyone send there older kids to over night camp? Growing up my dad's church had this youth group id go to every sunday morning and friday nights. And 2x a year the youth group would go to camp and stay in the middle of the woods in cabins and have church fires and games and everything everyday till we had to go home. The only thing is i don't know how to find one or want to put my son in a situation where hes uncomfortable. I knew most of my youth group for years since i was in elementary and the youth group inwent to started in middle school aged. So it was years. And we always would hang out together out side lf church. My son doesnt really have that. Unfortunately. Inthink it would be a really fun experience for him and a life changing experience. Those were the best memories ive had in my childhood. My youth group that i used to go to is still around with the same youth pastor. Im thinking of reaching out but i am nervous in a way because i don't know what to say and i haven't spoken to him since i was in 12th grade lol
